Windows Server 2008 R2 introduces the Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) feature which allows multiple nodes in a cluster to share a single LUN.
This great new feature simplifies storage administration for clusters by removing the need to place each virtual machine on its own LUN to ensure maximum flexibility with regards to VM failover and ownership. In this video Gordon Ryan shows how to enable CSV support in a cluster and then configure a volume and multiple virtual machines to use the volume as well as demonstrating the live migration feature.
